Country Scenes

A friend of mine posted this picture. He lives about 4 miles up this road. (His daughter and my daughter are BFFs or some acronym like that.)

Seeing scenes like this nearly every day, just one of the benefits to living in the country.

    Plenty of rain the last 3-4 weeks. Up until then it had been a rather dry summer.

    Yeah, we have been getting some rain the past week or so, too. We still have about a 10″ deficit. The Mississippi has been dropping an inch or so per day at Belleview and Quad Cities. We’re nowhere out of the woods yet.
