It sure would be nice to have Clinton’s fiscal policies though. I can’t get over the Clinton for Obama TV commercial. Give his plan a chance. He’s had his chance. The Dems called W the worst president ever. But, they just had to show us how bad a president can really be.
Clinton has never admitted that, without the Republicans taking Congress and balancing three budgets in a row, he would have never been re-elected.
If the GOP gets credit for Clinton’s success, can the Dems get credit for Reagan’s success? Besides, Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky gets the lion;s share of the credit for the Clinton budget that lead to surpluses in the 90s.

For voting for a bill she opposed and losing re-election as a result?
You’re as great an apologist as I’ve ever come across. Although, you only beat John E. due to your higher activity level.
Damn reality, full speed ahead!!
My apologies to Admiral Farragut, a native of my home county in Tennessee. In deference to the nitpickers who inhabit this blog and continually fail to see the forest for the trees, Farragut likely never said those words. From Wikipedia: More likely, if it happened, is that he said to the captain of Hartford, “Damn the torpedoes. Four bells,[52] Captain Drayton.” Then he shouted to the commander of Metacomet, lashed to Hartford’s side, “Go ahead, Jouett, full speed.” The words have been altered in time to the more familiar, “Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!”
She placed the needs of the country ahead of her own re-election. Certainly dont see that from many politicians. She remains fairly positive about it.

The invisibility of Clinton is trivial compared to that of his successor, may his name be blotted–oh, I guess they did that!
